The Central Corentyne Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the twelfth annual Berbice Exposition at the Albion Sports Complex, Corentyne from Friday August 19 to Monday August 22, 2016.
This year’s exhibition will be held under the theme “Promoting entrepreneurship for a diversified economy” and will see the Ministry of Agriculture playing a major role in the festivities.
Agriculture Minister, Noel Holder expressed his satisfaction in the fact that Agriculture is now being observed in a way where businesses will be showcased and partnerships created.
The event will give businesses such as manufacturing, arts and craft producers, and the services sector the occasion to display their standard and quality of products and services.
“The Ministry of Agriculture always looks forward to this expo simply because of the nature and the lay-out of the expo. These expos allow patrons to get a small but significant glance into the sector; where we are and where we are going” he said.
All of the agricultural agencies are set to participate with NAREI, GRDB, GMC and GLDA expected to have massive and crowd enticing displays. Tickets for the expo are $500 for adults and $300 for children.
