The NDIA commissioned the Mibicuri Pump station
In keeping with the mandate to provide better drainage and irrigation throughout the length and breadth of Guyana, the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) has completed and recently commissioned a pump station. The Mibicuri Drainage Pump Station was designed and constructed with state of the art equipment and is strategically located at Eversham Berbice in Region 6.
This pump station was constructed by the General Engineering Supplies and Services Company and has the pumping capacity of 220 CUSEC/ 89,766 gallons per minute. The Mibicuri Pump Station will farmers and other residents in the Black Bush Polder. It will also benefit residents of Johanna, Mibicuri and the immediate Front Lands of Black Bush Polder.
